BASKETBALL: Douglas can’t keep pace with Billies; Days Creek beats Milo

“We literally played the best half in two years as far as overall game and then in the third quarter we couldn’t score and forced some shots,” Douglas coach Kevin Wilson said. “We got outscored by 11 and that was the difference in the game.”

Sky Woods scored a game-high 17 points to lead Douglas (1-3). David Guthrie scored 14 points and Jason Tingle had 12.

The Trojans face the North Medford junior varsity in the first round of the Rogue River Holiday Classic today at 8:30 p.m.
