Condon memorial fund established

People wishing to donate funds in support of Stephanie Condon’s family can now do so through a memorial fund at Sterling Savings Bank.

Donations can be made at any Sterling branch, including its Riddle location at 315 S. Main St. Gift donations, which are not tax deductible, can be made to the Stephanie Condon Memorial Fund.

The Condon family plans to donate a portion of the funds to an organization that meant something to Stephanie. Donations should not be sent directly to the Condons.

Stephanie Condon’s remains were found in the Glide area last month. The 14-year-old Riddle girl went missing the night of Oct. 30, 1998 while baby-sitting in Tri City. Police are continuing to investigate her alleged abduction and murder.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for Condon at 1 p.m. April 18 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg.
