POLICE LOG

Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

12:02 p.m. — Criminal mischief to window and car with a paint ball gun on the 100 block of Beech Street in Green.

3:59 p.m. — Theft of lights from yard on the 100 block of Arnold Lane in Tri City.

Reedsport Police

6:56 p.m. — Male left business without paying for drinks on the 1200 block of Highway Avenue.

Roseburg Police

12:03 p.m. — Paint ball gun used on house overnight on the 1400 block of Hamilton Street and window struck on the 1500 block.

8:46 p.m. — Burglary and theft on the 1800 block of Commercial Avenue.

9:50 p.m. — Male struck by vehicle on the 900 block of Harvard Avenue. Unknown injuries.

Sutherlin Police

9:21 p.m. — Male trying to break into vehicle on the 200 block of Southwest Hawthorne Street.

Winston Police

5:39 p.m. — Criminal mischief to vehicle on the 200 block of Glenhart Street.

11:53 p.m. — People in vehicle shooting other vehicles with a paint ball gun at Baker Street and North Main Street.

3:23 p.m. — Door to pool house kicked in on the 300 block of Ruckles Drive in Tri City.

11:23 p.m. — Assault on the 100 block of South Molly Street in Glendale.

Roseburg Police

12:41 a.m. — House hit with a paint ball on the 1300 block of Hamilton Street.

1:15 a.m. — Male broke out a window at a business on the 2400 block of Diamond Lake Boulevard.

8:27 a.m. — Criminal mischief to roses on the 1000 block of Highland Street.

11:52 a.m. — Theft of medication from the 800 block of Brockway Avenue.

Sutherlin Police

12:16 p.m. — Theft of a golf cart from the 800 block of South State Street.

8:37 p.m. — Criminal mischief near new dog park site on the 700 block of Northwest Sixth Avenue.

ACCIDENTS

Saturday

Roseburg Police

11 a.m. — Vehicle into power pole on the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street. Driver left the scene. Unknown injuries.

Sutherlin Police

3:20 p.m. — Vehicle into a ditch at West Central Avenue and Comstock Road. No injuries.

Sunday

Douglas County sheriff

8:29 a.m. — Gerald P. Griffin, 51, of North Bend was operating a 2001 BMW motorcycle north on the 400 block of Eagle Valley Road in Yoncalla when a dog ran into the road. The bike hit the dog, which died, and the motorcycle tipped over. Griffin and his passenger, Debora Sauter Griffin, 54, of Roseburg, went to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

9:56 a.m. — A motorcycle struck a deer at Gem Drive and Lookingglass Road in Lookingglass. The deer was injured, but the motorcyclist was not.

2:34 p.m. — Sara A. Richmond, 20, of Yoncalla, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Lumina north on the 3500 block of Eagle Valley Road in Yoncalla when a bug landed on her hand, causing her to lose control and crash into a ditch. Passenger Brad D. Weaver, 20, of Drain, was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg where he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

4:29 p.m. — Noninjury accident on the 23000 block of North Umpqua Highway in Idleyld Park.

10:43 p.m. — Single-vehicle rollover crash on the 1000 block of Strickland Canyon Road in Porter Creek. No injuries reported. Winston-Dillard Ambulance and Lookingglass Rural Fire District also responded.

Douglas County sheriff

Dakota Thomas Miars, 18, of Canyonville, on suspicion of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and unlawful manufacture of marijuana.

Oregon State Police

Skip Alan Wise, 20, of Roseburg, on suspicion of two counts of recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving.

Roseburg Police

Jacob Nicholaus Harris, 21, of Roseburg, on suspicion of riot and second-degree criminal mischief.

Saturday

Roseburg Police

Jaime Lee Gunzenhauser, 26, of Sutherlin, on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and unlawful manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

Ian Tyler Trullinger, 28, of Roseburg, on suspicion of riot.

Sunday

Roseburg Police

Alex Manuel Garcia, 22, of Roseburg, on suspicion of first-degree criminal mischief.

FIRE RUNS

Saturday

North Douglas Fire

12:35 p.m. — Vehicle on fire on the 200 block of West A Avenue in Drain.

Myrtle Creek Fire

12:53 p.m. — Natural cover fire near home on the 1000 block of Springbrook Road.

Sunday

Glendale Fire

1:42 p.m. — A burn pile got out of control and moved into timber on the 3400 block of Reuben Road.
