POLICE LOG

Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

9:08 p.m. — Male assaulted by ex-girlfriend at restaurant on the 100 block of Bar L Ranch Road in Glide.

Reedsport Police

5:05 p.m. — Wood splitter stolen from the 3500 block of Frontage Road.

Roseburg Police

2:22 p.m. — Group of juveniles in a car hit a woman in the head with a water balloon on the 1100 block of Harvard Avenue.

Sutherlin Police

9:56 p.m. — Male accused of riding bicycle while intoxicated on the 400 block of West Central Avenue.

Sunday

Douglas County sheriff

12:36 a.m. — Water balloon thrown at vehicle on the 200 block of North Pacific Highway in Tri City.

7:02 a.m. — Burglary of a shop overnight on Alpine Drive in Melrose.

2:25 p.m. — Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Stonehenge Lane in Roseburg.

7:14 p.m. — Vehicles broken into and property stolen on the 400 block of Edgewater Drive in Sutherlin.

Reedsport Police

1:15 p.m. — Attempted burglary on the 100 block of Port Dock Road.

5:48 p.m. — Two males fighting on the 1400 block of Highway Avenue.

Roseburg Police

1:50 a.m. — Male stunned with Taser after allegedly throwing a rock through window of a police car at Lane Avenue and Rose Street.

7:38 p.m. — Male on bicycle yelling at a woman in her car on the 800 block of Highland Street; male threw bicycle at the car and was touching himself; arrested for disorderly conduct and unlawful entry into a vehicle.

ACCIDENTS

Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

12:18 p.m. — All-terrain vehicle accident with injuries on the 3400 block of Salmon Harbor Drive in Winchester Bay. Winchester Bay Fire Department and Reedsport Ambulance also responded.

2:48 p.m. — Single-vehicle accident with injuries at Umpqua Highway 99 and Breier Road in Drain. North Douglas Fire & EMS also responded.

4:17 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident on the 200 block of Pike Street in Glide.

Oregon State Police

11:45 p.m. — Single-vehicle accident at Garden Valley Boulevard and Interstate 5 southbound. Unknown injuries. Roseburg Fire Department and Medcom Ambulance also responded.

Roseburg Police

9:40 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident on the 100 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard.

10:39 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident at Ballf Street and Harvard Avenue.

Sunday

Douglas County sheriff

7:26 a.m. — A driver swerved to miss another vehicle in his lane and crashed at Del Rio Road and Garden Valley Road in Winchester. No injuries.

Oregon State Police

10:40 a.m. — Two vehicles heading northbound on Interstate 5 near Milepost 124 spun out of control and crashed into concrete barriers as the drivers attempted to change lanes. The driver of the 1999 Ford Contour, Tina M. Hoffman, 49, of Sutherlin, and the driver of the 1992 Isuzu Rodeo, Barbara A. Cole, 25, of Roseburg, were taken to Mercy Medical Center, where they were treated and released. Roseburg Fire Department and Medcom Ambulance also responded.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Friday

Douglas County sheriff

Leif William Lindstrom, 35, of Porterville, Calif., on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, prohibited practices, second-degree burglary, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief.

James Edward Sheldon, 25, of Azalea, on suspicion of third-degree assault.

Saturday

Roseburg Police

Dale Ray Morgan, 56, of Sutherlin, on suspicion of second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, prohibited practices and second-degree criminal mischief.

Sunday

Douglas County sheriff

Gregory Walter Stachowiak, 41, of Renton, Wash., on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and unlawful possession of heroin.

Roseburg Police

Timothy Gregory Sisk, 21, of Winston, on suspicion of first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft.

Justin Adam Smith, 32, of Winston, on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Juvenile Arrests

A 13-year-old Dillard male was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A 15-year-old Dillard female was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

FIRE RUNS

Saturday

Fire District No 2

9:14 p.m. — Tree on fire on the 100 block of Highland Vista Lane in the Roberts Creek area.

Glendale Fire

7:21 p.m. — Vehicle on fire on Interstate 5 northbound near Milepost 80 near Glendale.

Glide Fire

6:38 p.m. — Wooden shed engulfed in flames on the 400 block of Brown Street in Glide.
