POLICE LOG

Thursday

Douglas County Sheriff

8:23 a.m. — Criminal mischief on the 100 block of Pioneer Way, Winchester.

Noon — Burglary on the 15000 block of Upper Cow Creek Road, Azalea.

12:19 p.m. — Criminal mischief to a vehicle on the 400 block of Taylor Street, Tri City.

12:45 p.m. — Theft of a purse from a vehicle on the 500 block of Wood Crest Drive, Tri City.

Myrtle Creek Police

11:26 a.m. — Theft on the 200 block of Southwest Western Avenue.

Roseburg Police

2:05 p.m. — Theft of money on the 1800 block of Douglas Avenue.

2:31 p.m. — Theft of a bicycle on the 1900 block of Harvard Avenue.

4:02 p.m. — Criminal mischief on the 500 block Oakbriar Avenue.

4:04 p.m. — Theft on the 2100 block of Stewart Parkway.

Winston Police

10:14 a.m. — Identity theft reported on the 100 block of North Grape Street.

ACCIDENTS

Thursday

Douglas County sheriff

4:12 p.m. — Vehicle drove through a fence on the 500 block of West Pacific Avenue, Glendale. No injuries.

Oregon State Police

8:22 a.m. — Vehicle struck metal and was reportedly leaking fuel on Interstate 5 South near the Roberts Mountain exit. No injuries. Douglas County Fire District No. 2 also responded.

5:04 p.m. — Two-vehicle accident involving a semitruck and vehicle on Interstate 5 South at the Winchester Bridge. No injuries.

Roseburg Police

8:08 a.m. — Noninjury accident involving in a vehicle and a bicyclist at Roseland Avenue and Northeast Stephens Street.

1:11 p.m. — Noninjury accident at Garden Valley Boulevard and Park Street.

5:41 p.m. — Noninjury two-vehicle accident on the 1100 block of Stewart Parkway. Roseburg Fire Department also responded.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Roseburg Police

Harvey Steven Cale, 42, of Roseburg, on suspicion of encouragement of child sexual abuse, possession of materials depicting sexually explicit conduct of a child, first-degree sexual abuse and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct.

Brandon Lee Dove, 28, of Winston, on suspicion of felon in possession of a weapon or firearm.

Sutherlin Police

David Andre Gamer, 46, of Paradise, Calif., on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Joshua Lee Weathers, 35, of Sutherlin, on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and felony driving while suspended or revoked.
