These logs are the highlights of initial emergency calls and reports to the Douglas County Dispatch Center. They do not represent all the incidents or their final outcomes.

POLICE LOG

Sunday

Douglas County sheriff

10:56 p.m. — Theft of tarp, somebody urinated on truck, on the 4600 block of Carnes Road, Green.

8:24 p.m. — Helicopter crash in the Camas Valley area. Pilot received minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Medical Center. FAA was advised.

Myrtle Creek Police

11:01 a.m. — Criminal mischief on the 500 block of South Main Street.

Reedsport Police

12:57 p.m. — Bike stolen on the 1400 block of Hawthorne Avenue.

Roseburg Police

2 a.m. — Male forced way into back door of apartment on the 2000 block of Vine Street. Caller pointed gun at suspect and he left.

8:54 a.m. — Criminal mischief on the 600 block of Cass Avenue.

2:01 p.m. — Juveniles spray painting blocks on the 3400 block of Edenbower Boulevard.

Winston Police

3:09 a.m. — Bus broken into and items taken on the 500 block of South Main Street.

ACCIDENTS

Sunday

Oregon State Police

2:33 p.m. — Single-vehicle rollover at Milepost 83 southbound on Interstate 5, Glendale. Driver pronounced dead at scene. Female juvenile passenger was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Three Rivers Hospital in Grants Pass.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Camille L. Thompson, 22, of Winchester on suspicion of unlawful possession of heroin.

Jeremy Dale Waltz, 35, of Roseburg on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Rhonda Elaine Jones, 56, of Roseburg on suspicion of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.

Roseburg Police

Stanley Richard Orth, 37, of Roseburg, on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Jared Lee Clark, 29, address unknown, of attempting to use a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

FIRE RUNS

Douglas Forest Protective Association

11:29 a.m. — Smoke reported in Cow Creek Road, Middle Creek area.

North Douglas Fire and EMS

10:04 p.m. — Grass fire on the 400 block of Harlan Avenue.

Oakland Rural Fire District

1:55 p.m. — About 1/2 acres grass fire. Sutherlin Fire Department, Douglas County Fire District No. 2 and Sutherlin Ambulance also responded.

Roseburg Fire Department

6:19 a.m. — Small brush fire near Milepost 124 northbound, Interstate 5, Roseburg.
