Rachel Marie Surkamer and Tyler Ray Harris were united in marriage Aug. 15 at The Harris Family Garlic Farm in Glide. Steve Nelson officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception.
Rachel is the daughter of Denise Bosch and Scott Surkamer, both of Roseburg. Rachel is a 2002 graduate of Roseburg High School and a 2006 graduate of Northwest Christian College, with a bachelor of arts in elementary education. She now works at UCAN Head Start.
Tyler is the son of Brady and Wendy Harris of Glide. Tyler is a 2004 graduate of Glide High School and a 2008 graduate of the automotive program at Umpqua Community College. He now works at Speedy Lube.
The bride was attended during the wedding by maid of honor Heather Lane and bridesmaids Mary McMartin, Brandi Redifer and Kaitlan Harris. Hailey Frazer served as flower girl.
The groom was attended by best man Keith Enos and groomsmen Mitch Chenoweth, Nick Mallory and Jared Lane. Daniel Surkamer and Grant Harris served as ushers.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Oahu, Hawaii and now live in Roseburg.
