Brix 527 restaurant is holding a drawing for local veterans, awarding the winner breakfast for four on Veterans Day with a prime view of the Roseburg Veterans Day Parade from a table by the window.
“I think it could mean a lot to the right person,” said Brix 527 owner Misty Russell, who already reserves the restaurant's other window table to a group of veterans' widows every year.
The drawing, which is only open to veterans or those submitting an entry for a veteran, will take place on Nov. 10, the day before Veterans Day. Veterans can enter the drawing at Brix 527, 527 S.E. Jackson St., during business hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
