POLICE LOG

Monday

Douglas County sheriff

8:27 a.m. — Forged car title reported from the 400 block of Tipton Road in Roseburg.

9:46 a.m. — Attempted burglary of a shed on the 100 block of Agape Court in Roseburg.

1:25 p.m. — Burglary over the past week on the 700 block of Jodee Street in Tri City.

3:19 p.m. — Theft of locks from Galesville Reservoir on the 10000 block of Upper Cow Creek Road in Azalea.

3:24 p.m. — Vehicle stolen a week ago from the 1800 block of Weaver Road outside Myrtle Creek.

Reedsport Police

7:40 a.m. — Bear seen on the 800 block of Vista Court.

Roseburg Police

9:42 a.m. — Theft from a vehicle on the 2400 block of Diamond Lake Boulevard.

12:48 p.m. — Theft from a bank account reported from the 1600 block of Morris Street.

6 p.m. — A male took someone's beer, burritos and some chips, then left on his bike on the 200 block of Ward Avenue.

Sutherlin Police

2:20 p.m. — Possible fraudulent check received in the mail on the 1200 block of West Central Avenue.



ACCIDENTS

Monday

Douglas County sheriff

12:40 a.m. — Vehicle in ditch on the 800 block of John Long Road in Rice Hill. No injuries.

6:28 a.m. — Abandoned vehicle found off road on its side on the 1700 block of Dairy Loop Road in Lookingglass.

5:08 p.m. — A vehicle went over an embankment and into a field on the 2500 block of South Myrtle Road near Myrtle Creek. No injuries.

6:44 p.m. — A pickup went into the ditch at North Main Street and Stagecoach Road in Canyonville. Driver cited for careless driving, driving uninsured. No injuries.

Oregon State Police

2:21 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident on Interstate 5 northbound near Milepost 100 near Canyonville.

3:07 p.m. — Rollover accident on Interstate 5 northbound on Roberts Mountain south of Winston. Driver suffered small cut to his head, but declined transport to the hospital.

5:21 p.m. — Vehicle spun out and went into a ditch on Interstate 5 southbound near Milepost 112 south of the Boomer Hill interchange. No injuries.

6:19 p.m. — A mail carrier vehicle rolled over on Interstate 5 southbound near Milepost 169 just outside the Douglas County line. Unknown injuries.

Roseburg Police

7:21 a.m. — Noninjury accident on the 200 block of Garrecht Street.



ARRESTS

Monday

Douglas County sheriff

Larry Dean Beasley, 46, of Winston, on suspicion of first-degree sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse.

Roseburg Police

Bobby Joe Anderson, 26, of Roseburg, on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender.
