A Sandy man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday evening on Interstate 5 north of Myrtle Creek, Oregon State Police reported.
Ian Martin Flados, 31, was driving a 2005 Chrysler PCF southbound at Milepost 114 at 11:40 p.m., according to an OSP report.
A deer ran across the road from the center median, Flados' vehicle swerved and he lost control of it. The vehicle hit the embankment, coming to rest facing the roadway. Flados was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg.
His condition was not available this morning.
