Fire damages Roseburg-area home

An Antelope Lane home sustained minor damage from a fire Monday evening, officials said this morning.

Douglas County Fire District No. 2 responded to a 7:36 p.m. call of a fire at a house at 340 Antelope Lane, district Battalion Chief Roger Johnson said this morning.

The fire apparently started in a bedroom when a multi-strip adapter malfunctioned and overheated, Johnson said.

No injuries were reported. Fire District No. 2 sent three engines and eight people to the scene. Sutherlin Fire Department sent on engine and three people.

Firefighters left the scene by 8:25 p.m., Johnson said.
