These logs are the highlights of initial emergency calls and reports to the Douglas County Dispatch Center. They do not represent all the incidents or their final outcomes.

POLICE LOG

Tuesday

Douglas County sheriff

4:13 a.m. — Theft of rifle on the 900 block of Twin Oaks Lane, Tenmile.

10:57 a.m. — Brand-new TV missing from studio apartment on the 2100 block of Little River Road, Glide.

2:09 p.m. — Winch stolen on the 600 block of East First Avenue, Riddle.

Myrtle Creek Police

10:13 p.m. — Vehicle on fire on the 700 block of Northeast Cedar Avenue, assigned criminal mischief/arson.

Roseburg Police

11:36 a.m. — Male reports being assaulted under a bridge; he was seen in parking lot of Douglas County Health Department, 621 Madrone Street.

1:50 p.m. — Fraudulent check received on the 800 block of Princeton Avenue.

2:35 p.m. — Vehicle broken into at business on the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard.

ACCIDENTS

Tuesday

Douglas County sheriff

7:27 a.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury crash on the 4400 block of Northeast Stephens Street, Roseburg.

1:32 p.m. — Vehicle went off road on the 16000 block of North Highway 99. Driver taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

6:40 p.m. — Vehicle vs. deer crash on the 8300 block of South Highway 99, Dillard. Driver taken by ambulance to hospital.

Oregon State Police

11:03 a.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury crash at Milepost 125 northbound, Interstate 5, Roseburg.

12:35 p.m. — Two logging trucks collided head on at Milepost 20, Highway 138 West, Oakland. Both drivers injured.

Roseburg Police

12:01 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury crash on the 300 block of Oak Avenue.

3:10 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury crash on the 300 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Tuesday

Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility

A 17-year-old from Green on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance.

A 15-year-old from Roseburg on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearms, menacing, harassment, pointing firearm at another and unlawful use of a weapon.

FIRE RUNS

Tuesday

Douglas County Fire District No. 2

12:41 p.m. — Fire at mobile home at 9 Manor Loop, Green.
