These logs are the highlights of initial emergency calls and reports to the Douglas County Dispatch Center. They do not represent all the incidents or their final outcomes.

POLICE LOG

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

1:36 p.m. — Someone built a fire on private driveway on the 200 block of Brinkerhoff Drive, Canyonville. Homeowner put it out.

2:23 p.m. — A driver cut off another driver on the road. The second driver then punched the first driver in the nose in the parking lot of a business on the 4600 block of Carnes Road, Green.

Reedsport Police

7:59 p.m. — Vehicle hit a bear on the Burdick overpass, minor damage to vehicle.

Roseburg Police

10:48 a.m. — Fraud on the 2200 block of Diamond Lake Boulevard.

12:02 p.m. — Glass broken and top bent of parking meter on the 1000 block of Washington Avenue.

10:36 p.m. — Theft of license plate on the 2500 block of Edenbower Boulevard.

Winston Police

11:29 a.m. — Criminal mischief to back of business on the 200 block of South Main Street.

ACCIDENTS

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

3:59 p.m. — Two-vehicle, injury crash on Pruner Road, Myrtle Creek, near Exit 103, Interstate 5. Injured patient taken to hospital.

Oregon State Police

4:36 p.m. — Single-vehicle, noninjury crash at Milepost 108 southbound, Interstate 5, Myrtle Creek.

Roseburg Police

9:59 a.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury collision at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Washington Avenue.

4:19 p.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury crash at the intersection of Garden Valley Boulevard and Stewart Parkway.

Sutherlin Police

8 a.m. — Vehicle hit pedestrian on the 100 block of East Central Avenue and left scene. Pedestrian not hurt.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Wednesday

Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility

A 15-year-old from Roseburg on suspicion of unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful delivery of marijuana, unlawful manufacture of marijuana, unlawful delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and third-degree theft.

Myrtle Creek Police

Christian Alexander Nuhfer, 22, of Myrtle Creek on suspicion of unlawful delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to minors and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Roseburg Police

Adam Robert Smith, 21, of Roseburg on suspicion of attempting to elude a police officer, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a firearm, tampering with evidence, driving while suspended — misdemeanor and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
