Hiking guides will take groups through the Cavitt Creek Falls and Upper Cavitt Creek Timber Sale on Saturday.
Carpools will take off at 9 a.m. from the Fowler Street parking lot, behind the Douglas County Library on 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd.
RSVP is requested.
Umpqua Watersheds is hosting the hike so participants can learn how to guide a restoration project for the U.S. Forest Service.
The hike is free, but people are asked to bring gas money to help with carpooling. Also bring lunch, water and rain gear.
