A Tri City man was taken to the hospital after a car crash Wednesday afternoon, police said this morning.
Covie Quick, 86, of Riddle was driving a 2006 Ford Fusion on Pruner Road at 4 p.m., according to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office news release. Quick allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic at the stop sign at Pruner and Exit 103 southbound, Interstate 5.
The left front corner of Quick's car collided with a pickup driven by William Johnson, 74, of Tri City. A passenger in Johnson's pickup, Nathan Johnson, 21, of Tri City hurt his back and was transported to Mercy Medical Center. A hospital spokeswoman said he was treated and released.
