Born on March 24, 1913, in Weston County, Wyoming, to Avilo Budolph and Minnie Rose Budolph. She departed from this life on November 25, 2009, in Cheney Care Center in Cheney Washington.
Edith was the fifth of 13 children. She married Harry Fred Clark on March 20, 1933, in Deadwood, South Dakota. They lived in South Dakota and Wyoming before moving to Upper Pack River Valley in Northern Idaho.
Survivors include all eight of her children. Jean Coleman of Coeur d"Alene , Idaho; Nellie Jane (JIm) Gilbertson of Sandpoint, Idaho; Grace Dreschel of Roseburg, Oregon; Ethel Boyd of Escondido, California; Kari Clark of Sutherlin, Oregon; Mary Wilsie of Sandpoint; Wilma (Chuck) Mican of Roseburg, Oregon, and Harold William Clark of Casper, Wyoming, and one sister, Nancy Zerbst of Newcastle, Wyoming. Twenty Five grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren survive.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Harry F. Clark; a granddaughter, Tammy Gilbertson; parents, Avilo and Minnie Budolph and siblings, Blanch, Willis, Roy, Ethel, Elsie, Edna, Harold, Eldon, Glenn, Ray and Lloyd.
Edith loved to dance, sing, draw, read and recite poetry. She was able to beat any and all on comers who would play checkers with her. She was the best bread baker in Bonner county.
She loved to travel and never knew a stranger.
Her family will hold a memorial for her in the Pack River Valley summer of 2010.
