A Reedsport man is in custody on sex charges that allegedly involved two boys, police said Thursday.
Justin Vail Ure, 33, of Reedsport was arrested Monday by the Reedsport Police Department and then transferred to the Douglas County Jail Wednesday.
He has been charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sex abuse. He is being held on $300,000 bail.
The charges stem from alleged contact with an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old boy, Reedsport Dispatch Supervisor Judy Macho said.
She said the boys knew Ure, but were not related to him. Macho said the case will go before a grand jury and the police department will release more information after that occurs.
