A 38-year-old man was hurt in an alleged assault that took place Saturday evening in an Idleyld Park bar, police said this morning.

Darrell Lee Bright, 37, address unavailable, reportedly told police he saw his wife with the victim in The Narrows Tavern, 21608 North Umpqua Highway, at 9:47 p.m., according to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office news release.

Bright allegedly went into the bar, punched the victim in the face while he wasn't looking and then left. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg and released.

Bright was cited and released for fourth-degree assault.
