Edwin Aman Jr.

Age 89, passed away in Sutherlin, Oregon, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. He was laid to rest at the Creswell Pioneer Cemetery in Creswell, Oregon. Edwin was born on April 24, 1920, in Java, South Dakota, to Lydia and Edwin Aman. He is survived by his sons and daughters, Marjorie, Kathleen, Charles, Juanita, Steven, Leland and Rosalind. Also his brothers and sister, John , Ruben, Gene and Lillian. He was blessed to be known as Grampa to many grandchildren who loved him. Edwin was born and grew up on the family farm in South Dakota. He continued farm work after moving to Southern California with his family in the 1940's. He later worked for Aman Brothers Construction. About 30 years ago he moved to Roseburg, Oregon, and loved living in Douglas County. He always enjoyed the antique car hobby and later used that hobby to become self-employed. He loved Studebakers and was known by many people as “Studebaker Ed”. Edwin Aman valued the Love of his family and will be greatly missed.
