Hubert “Buck” M. Weakley

Born October 4, 1925, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2009. He was born to Guy and Rosie Weakley in West Virginia and moved to Oregon when he was eight.

Buck is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Dorothy and Lena. He is survived by his son, David and wife, Becky Weakley of Salmon, Idaho; son, Ronald and wife, Katherine Weakley of Riddle, Oregon, and daughter, Sherry and husband, Jimmy Dalziel of Arcada, California. Buck leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives.

Buck was a disabled World War II veteran. He was a stranger to no one and a friend to everyone. He lived a life as a logger and successful businessman. Buck was well liked throughout every part of the country that he called home.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing cards, and telling tall tales to all who would listen. If you knew Buck very well, then you know he always had a smile and a joke to tell. Of course his jokes never had an end as he would end up laughing well before he could ever get to the punch line. It was best to smile and laugh and wait for the next tall tale. Buck will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Per Buck's wishes, there will be no funeral services held in his memory. A memorial will be held at a later date.
