POLICE LOG

Friday

Douglas County sheriff

6:46 a.m. — Chainsaws stolen on the 400 block of South First Street, Drain.

10:19 a.m. — Motor scooter stolen on the 500 block of Canyonville Riddle Road, Canyonville.

8:09 p.m. — Smoke alarm went off at the 200 block of Second Street, Glendale. No fire.

8:22 p.m. — Vehicle on fire on the 2600 block of Diamond Lake Boulevard, Roseburg.

Myrtle Creek Police

2:13 p.m. — Aggravated theft on the 200 block of Northwest Pleasant Street.

4:10 p.m. — Outside chair stolen on the 100 block of Northwest Second Avenue.

Roseburg Police

7:34 a.m. — Fire in garbage cans on the 2500 block of Renann Street.

10:19 a.m. — Tires slashed overnight of vehicle on the 2200 block of Troost Street.

4:35 p.m. — Theft of purse from business on the 1400 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.

6:43 p.m. — Wallet stolen from business on the 700 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.

9:47 p.m. — Building entered and top of coffee table ripped off on the 1400 block of Veterans Way.

11:03 p.m. — Assault at the intersection of Diamond Lake Boulevard and Stephens Street. No medical care needed.

Winston Police

9:06 a.m. —Somebody tried to start fire in bathroom at city facility on the 400 block of South Grape Street.

Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

3:19 a.m. — Report of male with knife wounds to face and chest at Mercy Medical Center, reportedly from assault that took place at unknown location in Olalla. Suspect may have been cut as well. One person arrested.

10:17 a.m. — Fraud on the 400 block of East Second Avenue, Riddle.

11:35 a.m. — Criminal mischief to Christmas lights on the 800 block of Knoll Avenue, Roseburg.

Roseburg Police

2:07 a.m. — Theft of purse from business on the 800 block of Southeast Stephens Street.

8:25 a.m. — Criminal mischief on the 1100 block of Northeast Stephens Street.

9:01 a.m — Vehicle stolen from driveway overnight on the 1400 block of Troost Street.

10:38 a.m. — Bike stolen on the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Later found.

ACCIDENTS

Friday

Douglas County sheriff

11:25 a.m. — Single-vehicle, noninjury crash on the 7000 block of Buckhorn Road.

Sutherlin Police

5:21 p.m. — Single-vehicle, noninjury crash at the intersection of Calapooya Street and West Central Avenue.

5:50 p.m. — Single-vehicle, noninjury crash at the intersection of East Central Avenue and Jade Street.

Brandon Lee Blowers, 28, of Rogue River on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Michael Lonsinger, 44, of Yoncalla on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Suzanna Marie Ortiz, 41, of Yoncalla on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Roseburg Police

Donald James Brockett, 32, of Roseburg on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender and failure to perform duties of a driver.

Saturday

Roseburg Police

Craig Raymond Scott, 60, address unavailable, on suspicion of disorderly conduct, harassment, strangulation and second-degree criminal mischief.

Sutherlin Police

Christopher Allen Bradley, 26, address unavailable, on suspicion of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer.

FIRE RUNS

Friday

Camas Valley Rural Fire District

5:18 p.m. — Propane tank on fire, mobile home on fire. One person left homeless. Red Cross contacted to help person. Lookingglass Rural Fire District, Tenmile Olalla Volunteer Fire District, Winston-Dillard Fire Department also responded. State fire marshal called to investigate the fire.

Saturday

Sutherlin Fire Department

1:46 p.m. — Odor of natural gas reported on the 1400 block of West Central Avenue.
