Of Sutherlin, Oregon, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Sacred Heart Medical Center, due to complications after surgery.
She was born in Kennett, Missouri, on September 1, 1941, to Eldon William and Juanita Lucille Hardin.
Carolyn moved to Sutherlin, during her sophomore year in high school and was Sutherlin Timber Days queen in 1957.
Carolyn married Ron Kenwisher on July 9, 1960, at the Sutherlin Methodist Church.
In 1964, Carolyn and Ron left Oregon to go into the computer business. They moved 17 times and traveled extensively in Europe and Asia.
After originally retiring in Arizona in September of 2000, they moved back to Sutherlin in December of 2006.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brad Kenwisher from Yuba City, California and Blake Kenwisher from Dana Point, California; one daughter, Shelly Searcey from Edmond, Oklahoma, and nine grandchildren.
