78, of Roseburg passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2009. He was born on November 12, 1931, in Hudson, Michigan, to Cleo and Margurite Rush. Howard was career Army retiring after 22 years and receiving numerous medals and commindations. After retiring he went to work for in the plywood industry. He survived by his wife of 56 years, Josette, three children, Gary (Kathleen), Corinne (Paul) Sayka and Sharon Vanatta. He is also survived by his brother Louis (Christine)Rush, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Saturday, December 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Vine Street Baptist Church.
