Age 96,of Riddle, Oregon, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009. She was born on April 8, 1913, in Hettinger, North Dakota. Betty (Claridge) married Harvey Schornstein on July 12, 1950, in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Harvey, in 2003. As an active member of the Myrtle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church, she donated countless hours to the church's community outreach program, providing food and clothing to families in need. Betty is survived by her sons, Rob Schornstein (wife, Emily); Randy Schornstein, (wife, Willa ); brothers, John Claridge and Lawrence Claridge; grandchildren, Susie Graham and Scott Graham and numerous nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., January 16, Myrtle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Myrtle Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church building fund
