Claude Sterline points out Bulldog Rock on a map of the Umpqua National Forest. The area is one of about 13 that the Umpqua Watersheds Wild on Wilderness committee is trying to get designated as a roadless wilderness area.
Umpqua Watershed's 14th annual banquet celebrated the organizations 15th year in existence. With the theme "Think Like a Mountain," banquet speakers focused on restoration efforts. Volunteers and other movers and shakers in the group were recognized for their work in 2009.
