See dog in car? Leave it alone

We have two dogs. They are my girls. Jiggle the keys, or spell r-i-d-e and they are ready to go. If we park the vehicle anywhere, we leave the windows down far enough so they can get plenty of fresh air. We do not need some concerned citizen calling the law, accusing us of being abusive pet owners.

The problem is not the dogs or the window being down, it's the people who do not have enough common sense to use their heads for something more than holding their ears apart. Thinking they are the dog whisperer and the dogs are their friends, they just have to pet them.

We had an incident because someone reached into our car and got bitten. I am sure the back of his hand and thumb still hurt. So try to remember, keep your hands where they belong and not in harm's way. If you see a vehicle with a beware of dog sign in the window, guess what?

Yes, our dogs are up on their shots, are you? I don't want my girls getting sick.
