Matt passed away after a too short battle with cancer, on Sunday, August 8, 2010, in Glide, Oregon.

Matt is survived by his son, Brian Stevenson; daughter, Kimberly Stevenson and her partner, Timothy Price, II; grandchildren, Timothy and Joanna Price; sister, Donna Hague and nephew, Bruce Hague; brother, Craig Stevenson and his wife Mary; nieces, Nicole Roosevelt and Lori Stevenson. Matt's great friend, Tim Sewell. And Matt's best friend and long time companion, his dog, Teddy.

Matt enjoyed his time in the outdoors best. He loved to fish especially to back side of the Rock Creek Hole on the North Umpqua River. Matt will be missed by his family and friends including all of the special friends he made in Powers and Glide.

At Matt's request there was no public service or memorial.
