Passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the age of 83. He was born on October 17, 1926, in Powell Butte, Oregon, the son of Ed and Naomi (Flint) Agee. He was raised in the Redmond, Oregon, area and during WWII he entered the US Navy to serve our country. After the war he returned to Central Oregon and later settled in Boise, Idaho in 1953. George drove bus for Trailways for many years and later sold RV's in the Boise area. He was married to Bonnie Cossel who later passed away. On August 31, 1996, he married Beverly Yeske in Roseburg at the First Christian Church. George was a Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed RVing, traveling, fishing and attended the First Christian Church in Roseburg. He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Roseburg; children, Melvin R. Agee, or Roseburg; Evelyn L. Wilder and Larry L. Agee both of Boise, Idaho, and Jerry E. Agee of Eagle Point, Oregon. George was blessed with nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John and a sister, Harriett. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the First Christian Church in Roseburg. Officiating will be Pastor Bruce Russell. Military Rites will be offered by the VFW District Twelve Honor Guard. He will be interred at the Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor's Family Chapel.
