Passed away on September 19, 2010. Born on February 19, 1929; she was a spiritual, loving, hard working woman who lived with the love of her life, Thomas Zoeter in Lookingglass, Oregon, for over 60 years. Violet was a life-long member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She would nurture those in need at every opportunity. Violet enjoyed growing fruits and vegetables for her friends and family. Violet is survived by her husband, Thomas Zoeter, of Lookingglass; as well as her children, Marcus Zoeter of Hawaii; Jody and husband, Don Major, of Roseburg, OR, and David and wife, Lisa Zoeter of Desert Hot Springs, CA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren whom she adored and doted on , as well as countless dear friends. Memorial services will be held on in her honor at the Roseburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at 3 p.m.
