Some states' Land Grant University Extension Services have the word “cooperative” in front of them, such as University of California Cooperative Extension Service or Arizona Cooperative Extension. Even though Oregon State University Extension Service doesn't include the word “cooperative,” it would be an accurate descriptive word for our local Douglas County office.
