Homeowners can receive assistance repairing or building wells, thanks to a $300,000 grant received last week by NeighborWorks Umpqua. Well owners in Douglas, Coos and Curry counties whose incomes are no higher than the area's median income are eligible to receive low-interest loans of up to $11,000.
