As a troubled economy constricts donations to nonprofit groups, Douglas County arts and education projects continue to find a champion in Dr. John Unruh.A dozen grant recipients for 2012 were identified Monday at a lunch at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center in Roseburg. The 12 received a total of $31,030 and are the latest beneficiaries of the Dr. John Wm. and Betty Long Unruh Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. Amounts range from $766 to $4,664.
