WELCHES - The News-Review has been named the best newspaper of its size in the state. The news staff won first place in the General Excellence category in the 2012 Better Newspaper Contest sponsored by the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association.The award was announced Friday, the final day of ONPA's summer convention at the Resort on the Mountain in Welches.
