Newspaper In Education is a cooperative effort between The News-Review and the Douglas County school district to use the newspaper as a tool for instruction. The News-Review and our N.I.E. sponsors will provide daily copies to the school at no cost to the school.
Evidence is clear that the students benefit the most from the N.I.E. program. It teaches students to stay current on local events and provides a different reading tool every day.
Newspapers ordered for classroom use are available Monday through Friday and Sundays at no cost to the school.
