					A Roseburg woman suspected of giving her 14-year-old son a cookie containing medical marijuana was arrested today, Roseburg police said. Terrianne Christine Rowe, 34, was taken into custody around 4:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Southeast Commercial Avenue. No further information was available today about how police learned about the incident. 					A Grants Pass truck driver whose truck rolled over Monday on Old Highway 99 South near Vintage Lane was cited on suspicion of drunken driving, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. Ronald Deane Howland, 51, was driving south shortly before 3 p.m. after unloading logs at Roseburg Forest Products, deputies said. Diana Dallagiacomo, 44, was found by fishermen Friday near the Douglas County Fairgrounds. She was a transient, and deputies who spoke to occupants of a nearby homeless camp determined that she had been missing for about two weeks, the sheriff’s office said today. 					Things are not going smoothly for the Douglas County Men’s Softball Association. Players arriving Monday evening for games at Sunshine Park in Roseburg found the park’s three ballfields ungroomed. Overnight, thieves stole the all-terrain vehicle that pulls a heavy metal screen over dirt infields to smooth the surface before each game. It was the second time in six weeks that an ATV parked in a fenced and locked enclosure at the Roseburg city park has been taken. The first time, thieves cut a chain to get into the enclosure. 					TILLER — A popular Douglas County campground will be closed until Memorial Day weekend because of vandalism. The Umpqua National Forest and Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe are offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the conviction of the vandals who left a muddy mess at the South Umpqua Falls Campground by tearing up grass with a vehicle. The campground is off South Umpqua Road, about 20 miles east of Tiller in the Tiller Ranger District. 					RIDDLE Man strews filth in mill A man later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants walked into a Riddle mill and emptied a cooler containing feces on the ground, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Bryan Clifford Pearson, 41, allegedly entered Roseburg Forest Products’ warehouse at 3064 Riddle Bypass Road wearing a hard hat, hitting stacks of wood with the metal bar, according to the sheriff’s office. 					A ‘freak’ spring hailstorm caused a spate of traffic accidents around Douglas County on Monday afternoon, including one on Interstate 5 at Roberts Mountain involving 11 southbound vehicles. A dispatcher with Oregon State Police said four other accidents took place on the freeway between 12:25 and 2:12 p.m. in Douglas County, between Myrtle Creek and the northern county border. At 12:25 p.m., a passenger vehicle heading south was passing a tractor trailer near Milepost 115 when it began to swerve, causing a sheriff’s deputy traveling behind it to slide into a guardrail, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Police say that Tyler Bryan Sands was found hiding in the vacant building at 738 Harvard Avenue after allegedly breaking a glass door on the east side of the building and leaving the water running on the second floor. 					A power pole that caught fire Sunday night in west Roseburg caused an outage to about 530 Pacific Power customers, a company spokesman said this morning. Tom Gauntt of Pacific Power said a loose connection in equipment on the pole led to a spark that started a small fire shortly after 9:30 p.m. The fire cut power to customers in the Alameda neighborhood of west Roseburg. 					A former International Paper employee and his girlfriend are in custody this weekend, suspected of breaking into the company’s shuttered mill in Gardiner and making off with $10,000 worth of equipment in a truck they’re also suspected of stealing, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s office. Officials say security footage shows James Michael Wiggins, 36, and Julie Lynn Neuharth, 43, entering the defunct mill’s maintenance shop at 2:42 a.m. Thursday and taking their time as they gathered equipment from around the site and loaded it into a company pickup parked inside the shop.
