Stuffed monkeys, cedar and fir bough arrangements, crocheted kitchen towels and baked goods will be back for this year’s 40th anniversary of the Christmas Craft Fair. Those homemade crafts were there in the early years, and they have maintained a holiday presence at the annual event at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. This year’s fair is slated for Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. The monkeys, arrangements, towels and food, along with their longtime creators, will be part of the full lineup of 246 vendors spread throughout four buildings at the fairgrounds complex.
