WINSTON City plans tree lighting, events The city of Winston will host its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1. The event is sponsored by the Winston-Dillard Festival Association. The lighting ceremony will include hay rides, caroling and Santa Claus, along with warm beverages and treats for children.
