The Ford Family Foundation, a Roseburg based nonprofit agency, has announced awards to 10 artists statewide. All live outside Douglas County. The grants range from $1,500 to $7,500, totaling $29,947. They are distributed in conjunction with the quarterly schedule of the Oregon Arts Commission’s Career Opportunity Grants. The Opportunity Grants are part of a program launched in 2010 by the Ford Family Foundation.
