SUTHERLIN — The Glide baseball team is poised for a successful season this spring — health permitting. Brenden Fricke and Jacob Fricke combined on a two-hitter as the Wildcats opened their season Wednesday with a 10-0 nonleague win over 4A Sutherlin at the Bulldogs’ field. Brenden Fricke allowed two hits while striking out six and walking two in five innings of work, then Jacob Fricke struck out five in two innings.
