The Umpqua Community College Fine and Performing Arts Department, along with the Umpqua Chamber Orchestra, will present a Nov. 19 performance with vocalist Susannah Mars and the Umpqua Singers. Mars has a background in musical theater and cabaret. She is an actor as well as a recording artists. Her film credits include “Freaky Friday,” “Things I Never Told You,” and “Nowhere Man.” The Umpqua Singers are UCC’s vocal jazz ensemble.
