ROSEBURG Tree lighting marks season The holiday season in Roseburg will officially begin with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the front lawn of the Douglas County Courthouse. The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at 1036 S.E. Douglas Ave. A live nativity scene with carolers can be seen prior to the ceremony at 4:45 p.m. across the street at the First Christian Church, 432 S.E.
