Tribe finish 2002 season with banquet

The Roseburg High School football team capped the 2002 season Tuesday night with a banquet to honor the players and their accomplishments.The 19 seniors on the squad were honored individually by Tribe coach Thurman Bell and his assistants, and letters were handed out to members of the varsity and junior varsity squads. Several awards were handed out on the evening in a variety of categories. The players voted for the winner in each category. Senior Jake Dorsey was voted MVP for the season. Dorsey rushed for 1,281 yards, leading the Southern Oregon Conference in rushing. He was named first-team All-SOC …
