LEMOLO LAKE — Cooler temperatures, higher humidity and light winds allowed firefighters to complete lines around the Butte Fire by this morning. The fire was 65 percent contained and remained at 142 acres, the same size as Monday. “They are maintaining the acreage. There is really minimal fire growth,” Umpqua National Forest spokeswoman Emily Veale said. The fire was 50 percent contained Monday, and fire officials estimate having the blaze fully contained by Wednesday evening.
