Trooper stops driver, makes arrest at gunpoint

A Seattle man arrested at gunpoint by the Oregon State Police remained in custody today in the Douglas County Jail. Kiley John Turner, 41, was booked Sunday on suspicion of recklessly driving on Intersate 5 in South County and trying to speed away from a trooper who pulled him over. Police said they received numerous reports of a pickup’s driver speeding south on I-5 at up to 90 mph, tailgating, making unsafe lane changes and passing on freeway shoulders.
