Bonnie Parish, Roseburg resident, wins Duck Derby grand prize

Bonnie Parish of Roseburg came away the big winner from the 14th annual Rotary Duck Race Saturday, winning the grand prize of a 2012 Chevy Sonic. She drove off the Clint Newell Auto Group lot Wednesday with a smile and a wave. More than 9,000 rubber ducks floated down the North Umpqua River on Saturday, and the duck that finished first at River Forks Park was one of 30 purchased by Court Appointed Special Advocates of Douglas County board members.
