Roseburg’s Discovery Garden lives up to its name

It may have the most accurate name of any place in Douglas County. That’s because anybody who visits Discovery Garden for the first time recognizes the site as a real find. Launched in 2000, the garden sits on county land, just outside the entrance to River Forks Park northwest of Roseburg. It’s well-tended and cherished by members of the Master Gardeners program of the Oregon State University Extension Office.
