WINSTON — The Douglas football team and senior running back Nate Vosika started the season off with a bang Friday night, sending Cottage Grove home with a 53-7 loss. Vosika rushed for 60 yards on nine carries and scored four touchdowns, and also caught a 12-yard scoring pass in the fourth quarter. “Every thing came together tonight; everyone was blocking incredible,” Vosika said.
