BANDON — A violent confrontation between five Myrtle Creek residents who live together and were traveling Sunday evening in a vehicle on Highway 101 north of Bandon led to one man being shot to death, another man wounded in the head and a suspected shooter taken into custody. The shooting began in the vehicle as it was traveling north on the highway. An adult woman, who was not identified by authorities, suffered a gunshot wound to her hand, Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier said in a written release.
