Medford man injured in plane crash near Lemolo Lake

LEMOLO LAKE Medford man crashes plane A Medford man was injured Thursday when he crashed a small plane while attempting to make an emergency landing near Lemolo Lake, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Larry Milligan, 36, was flying a 2005 RV6 experimental plane from Sun River when he had electrical problems and tried to land on a straight stretch of Birds Point Road. He touched down, but the plane skidded off the road and flipped on its roof. Milligan injured his head in the crash landing and was flown to Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. His condition …
