Pot pipe found in Winston school lunch box does not lead to charges

WINSTON Pot pipe found in lunch box The grandmother of a Brockway Elementary School second-grader will not face criminal charges after a marijuana pipe was found in the student’s lunch box Monday. The pipe was discovered by school personnel, who reported it to the Winston Police Department. Officers learned the student’s grandmother, who holds a valid Oregon medical marijuana card, also uses the child’s lunch box and failed to remove the pipe before sending the student to school, Winston Police Chief Scott Gugel said.
